HUMAN PERFORMANCE / UNDER PRESSURE

iForge/Performance under pressure

Performance under pressure is
a systems problem.

The answer is not to push harder. It is to strengthen the drivers that determine whether you can decide clearly, recover and keep delivering under sustained pressure.

02 / DIAGNOSIS

Why capable professionals still lose capacity under pressure

Visible underperformance is often the final outcome of three quieter leaks. iForge makes them visible before willpower has to cover the deficit.

01

Output without recovery

A full calendar can hide declining physical capacity and slower recovery. You still function, but with less reserve and a growing cost.

02

Focus without command

Under pressure, urgency displaces importance. Attention fragments, decisions become reactive and avoidable errors consume capacity.

03

Discipline without direction

More discipline cannot resolve conflicting priorities. Without direction, every choice feels like a loss and the system never stands down.

03 / CAUSAL DRIVERS

The causal driver map: three levers, one outcome

We do not only measure how you feel. We identify the small set of causal drivers that currently limits your performance under pressure.

1

Body

Physical capacity, energy, sleep and recovery determine how much pressure you can absorb without losing quality.

2

Mental command

Attention control, stress regulation and decision rhythm determine whether pressure remains information or becomes noise.

3

Direction

Priorities, values and boundaries determine where capacity goes — and what is deliberately left undone.

04 / METHOD

From baseline to evidence in twelve weeks

The method is deliberately focused, measurable and adaptive: not a library of advice, but a working operating rhythm around your biggest constraint.

  1. 01

    Measure what matters

We connect pressure, capacity and behaviour in a compact baseline and select one primary lever.

  2. 02

    Train in the real context

Your plan fits workdays, travel and responsibility. Weekly feedback keeps the plan connected to reality.

  3. 03

    Prove what holds

Progress becomes visible in behaviour, recovery and execution. What works stays; what fails is adapted or stopped.

Built around responsibility, not job titles

  • CEOs and CFOs in growth phases
  • Investors and operating partners
  • Officers and operational leaders
  • Police, fire and ambulance leaders
  • Partners in professional services
  • Founders and scale-up leaders

05 / FAQ

Questions about performance under pressure

Is performance under pressure mainly about mental toughness?

No. Mental skills matter, but performance is also constrained by physical capacity, recovery, priorities and the operating environment. iForge treats these factors as one system.

How quickly can results become visible?

Initial behavioural changes can appear within weeks. iForge uses twelve weeks to test, adapt and determine whether the change also holds during demanding periods.

Is iForge therapy or medical treatment?

No. iForge is performance coaching and does not replace a physician, psychologist or other healthcare professional. Medical or psychological concerns require appropriate professional care.
