PRESSURE READINESS / METHOD VERSION 0.1

How the Pressure Readiness Check is calculated and interpreted

This page documents how the iForge Pressure Readiness Check calculates a result, what the labels mean and how the result should and should not be interpreted.

01

Instrument

The check consists of nine self-ratings about the current situation: three each for Body, Mental command and Direction. Every item uses the same 1–5 response scale.

02

Calculation

Each domain score is the arithmetic mean of its three items. The overall readiness score is the arithmetic mean of the three domain scores. The lowest-scoring domain is presented as the first area to examine.

03

Interpretation

The result is a reflection signal. The lowest domain is a hypothesis to test against behaviour and context, not a diagnosis or causal conclusion.

04

Privacy

Answers and calculated scores remain in the browser. They are not submitted, stored or used for marketing analytics. A shared result contains only the band and domain label.

Known limitations

Known limitations

  • No normative population benchmark
  • Not validated for medical, psychological or selection decisions
  • Self-report is sensitive to context and response style
  • The lowest domain may not be the cause of observed performance
  • A change in score is not evidence of impact without behavioural and contextual data

There is currently no iForge Readiness Index or population benchmark. The answers from this check cannot be used to create one because they remain in the browser. Any future benchmark would require a separate, consent-based data collection with privacy safeguards and transparent reporting of the sample, exclusions and uncertainty.
